This report comes at a critical time for Canada’s forest products sector. The pressures facing our sector are real, and they are being felt by businesses, employees, contractors, and forest-dependent communities across the country.

If implemented, the Task Force Report's recommendations will protect jobs, enhance competitiveness and support the long-term growth and stability of our sector. But we have to ensure government adopts these recommendations, turns advice into the action, and urgently moves this from discussion to meaningful actions that can be felt on the ground.
