This report comes at a critical time for Canada’s forest products sector. The pressures facing our sector are real, and they are being felt by businesses, employees, contractors, and forest-dependent communities across the country.

If done right, this Task Force Report should provide a practical blueprint for enhancing competitiveness and supporting the long-term growth and stability of our sector. But we have to ensure the Task Force adopts recommendations that move this from discussion to meaningful actions that can be felt on the ground.
